USC Football Recruiting: Meet the Latest Additions

USC football recruiting continued to impress over the holiday weekend as the Trojans added two new commitments to the 2024 class, which is now top-five in the country. The newest additions to the class are both three-star recruits on the defensive side of the ball, Deyvid Palepale and Braylon Conley.

USC Football Recruiting Adds Deyvid Palepale and Braylon Conley to the 2024 Class

These most recent additions vaulted the 2024 USC football recruiting class up two spots to #5 in the country. Palepale is a three-star DL, and Conley is a three-star CB.

According to 247 Sports, Palepale is the #651 player in the 2024 class, the #62 DL, and the #20 player in the state of Pennsylvania. He will be coming a long way to USC as he currently attends Hempfield High School in Landisville, PA. He chose the Trojans over his home-state Penn State Nittany Lions and Michigan.

Conley is ranked #469 in the 2024 class on 247, the #41 CB, and the #80 player in the state of Texas. He attends Atascocita High School in Humble, TX. Conley had an impressive offer list and chose USC over schools like Georgia, Michigan, Texas, Oregon, Auburn, Nebraska, Michigan State, TCU, Wisconsin, and many others.

USC now has 17 commits in the 2024 class, and 14 were added in the month of June, seeing the class jump over 50 spots in the national rankings. There is still a lot of time left in the cycle for more additions to be made, but at this point, we already know that this is going to be an elite recruiting class.
