USC football makes top-12 for four-star EDGE

USC football recruiting news was showing up extremely often in June and into early July, but things have slowed down a bit since. The Trojans 2024 class took big strides during that time and USC now has a pretty solid overall class. However, news for 2025 recruiting class is now beginning to emerge, and USC football is one of 12 teams left in contention to land four-star EDGE Bryce Davis.

Bryce Davis released his top-12 recently and his list includes USC, Michigan, Clemson, South Carolina, Alabama, Florida, Duke, Georgia, Tennessee, Notre Dame, North Carolina and Miami Florida. There is obviously still a very long way to go in the recruiting process for Davis, but it’s good to see that USC is still in the running.

Landing Davis would be huge for the Trojans. He is currently ranked as the #49 overall recruit in the 2025 class by 247, the #7 EDGE and the #2 player in the state of North Carolina. Davis currently attends Grimsley High School in Greensboro, NC. He is considering both major North Carolina schools, and also South Carolina.

Davis also plays running back in high school and rushed for nine touchdowns during the 2021-22 season.

With USC joining the Big Ten next season and the landscape of college football changing drastically, recruiting is becoming more and more important every year. The Trojans will go up against schools like Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State and more. The schedule will be grueling every year, and teams will need the best players to avoid falling behind the curve. It’s going to be an exciting time for USC football.
