USC football a finalist to land five-star EDGE

USC football already has a special 2024 recruiting class in the making, but the Trojans are looking to do the same in 2025 as well. They could be adding one of the top prospects in the country as five-star EDGE Zion Grady has put USC football in his top-10.

Grady still has a long way to go before he needs to decide which school he will attend as he is only a Junior in high school, but he is down to 10 options. He will choose between USC, Texas, Tennessee, Oregon, Georgia, Louisville, Michigan, Auburn, Alabama and Florida State. The Trojans will have some stiff competition here landing Grady.

Zion Grady is a five-star recruit according to 247 Sports, and the #17 overall prospect in the 2025 class. He is also the #1 EDGE prospect and the #4 player in the state of Alabama. He currently attends Charles Henderson High School in Troy, AL and has two football seasons left there.

Last year for Charles Henderson, Grady put up absolutely ridiculous stats. In 14 games, he had 106 total tackles, 35 TFL and 19 sacks. Video game numbers from the young star.

There’s a long ways to go in the recruitment of Grady, but it’s a great sign to see USC make his top-1o and still be in contention. It will likely be awhile before he announces his commitment, which means the Trojans will get the chance to prove themselves on the field this year to Grady and the entire 2025 class. If the Trojans have a successful year, they can show recruits that they will also be successful if they come to USC.

The 2024 USC recruiting class is strong, but perhaps the 2025 class could be even stronger.
