Top-25 C in the 2024 Class Will Announce Commitment Saturday

Four-star top-25 C, John Bol, announced his top eight choices back in mid-May, and it included USC. Now, the 7-foot-2 big man is ready to reveal his decision. He will announce his commitment on Saturday at 9 AM PT.

Bol has narrowed down his options to eight schools for his commitment: USC, Texas, UConn, Michigan, Wake Forest, Florida, Missouri, and Overtime Elite, a professional basketball league for 16-20-year-olds in Atlanta. Bol has not received any crystal ball predictions for any particular school, so it remains uncertain where he will commit.

Right now, Bol is ranked as the #23 player in his class, #3 C and #1 player in the state of Kansas.

Bol is playing high school basketball in Wichita, KS, and it is somewhat surprising that Bol isn’t receiving stronger recruitment interest from powerhouse Kansas. He is not considering the Jayhawks.

While Bol currently plays high school basketball in Kansas, the top-25 C hasn’t been in the United States for very long. After growing up in South Sudan, his family believed it would be best to move him to the States to pursue his basketball career.

Now, Bol is poised to become a star in college basketball and potentially in the professional leagues one day. With his remarkable length and athleticism, the sky is the limit for this top-25 C.

The 2023 recruiting class for USC is currently ranked #3 in the nation, and this is why expectations are so high around the basketball program. The 2024 class has yet to secure any commitments, but acquiring a top-25 C would be an excellent way to start.
